Paul Wesley or Pawel Tomasz Wasilewski is an actor, director and producer best known by his role as a character in The Vampire Diaries. In the television series, he's been recognized with numerous awards and nominations like The Teen Choice Awards as well as the Young Hollywood Awards. Wesley, who was born in New Brunswick New Jersey and was raised within America, United States, showed interest in acting in his early high school years. After that, he enrolled in Rutgers University. The director has also directed a number of episodes of the show. In the years since when he first made his debut in film in The Last Run, he's been in several popular movies. His most recent performances as an actor in Mothers and Daughters and The Late Bloomer included supporting roles. On social media, he has more than 13 million followers on Instagram.
